About Shadan
Farettisis is an Iranian brand operating across dessert cakes and grain-based snack products. The brand initially built its identity around Italian-style dessert cakes offered in a wide range of fruit, chocolate, coffee, caramel and coconut flavors. Its official brand story links the concept to Italian pastry traditions and industrial bakery technology.
The portfolio has subsequently expanded into rice cakes and multigrain snacks. Current products include plain and flavored rice cakes as well as formats based on brown rice, oats, quinoa, buckwheat and other grain combinations. This gives the business a presence across both indulgent dessert occasions and lighter grain-based snacking.
The name Sis Rice is also used in the market in connection with the group's rice-cake range. For Foodex Iran's entity structure, Farettisis and Sis Rice should therefore be distinguished from the legal manufacturing company rather than being merged under the corporate name Shadan.
From Foodex Iran's perspective, Farettisis offers an interesting example of a food portfolio spanning two distinct consumption spaces: indulgent dessert products and grain-based snacks. This structure may broaden consumption occasions, while making clear brand architecture increasingly important. A well-defined relationship between Farettisis, Sis Rice and the manufacturing company can support clearer positioning as the portfolio develops.
