Ard Tavakol

Tavakol Flour is an Iranian milling and flour brand whose business history dates back to 1950. The operation began in Rafsanjan with traditional water- and stone-powered mills before moving toward mechanized milling during the 1960s. Its first industrial flour facility was established in 1971 with an annual production capacity of approximately 12,000 tonnes.

In 1987, the business was formally incorporated as Tavakol Rafsanjan Food Production Co. The company subsequently developed a new roller-milling facility, which entered operation in 1989, followed by further expansion of its production infrastructure. A 50,000-tonne mechanized wheat silo was later commissioned in 2014.

Today, Tavakol's manufacturing complex covers approximately four hectares in Rafsanjan Industrial Estate. Its operations include Bühler milling technology, laboratory equipment from companies such as Brabender, FOSS, and Chopin, dedicated microbiological, chemical, and physical quality-control laboratories, and an internal research and development function.

Official product records associated with the company use both the Tavakol Flour and Sanjan Flour names. “Ard Sanjan” is also registered as a trademark of Tavakol Rafsanjan Food Production Co. under registration No. 259169.
