About Rayehe Khansar
Rayehe Honey Khansar is an Iranian honey and bee-products brand whose roots date back to 1320 SH (1941/42) in Khansar. The business was founded by Mohammad Ali Javaheri and has continued across four generations of the Javaheri family, combining a long local beekeeping tradition with a broader modern presence in Iran's honey market.
Rayehe's portfolio spans organic, natural, polyfloral, monofloral, flavored and comb honey, including varieties such as astragalus, thyme, sidr, citrus, sumac and white honey. The range also extends beyond honey to bee products such as royal jelly, bee pollen and propolis extract, as well as honey-based blends, gift boxes and formats designed for household and corporate use.
Organic production has become an important part of Rayehe's positioning. An independently verifiable Bio.Inspecta record for Khansar Rayehe Honey shows certification under the USDA Organic program since 2019, covering selected products including white honey, astragalus honey, polyfloral honey, saffron honey and premium honey products. In a category where consumers often question origin and authenticity, this provides the brand with a meaningful foundation for evidence-based product trust.
Rayehe combines direct and online sales with a network of representatives and retail outlets across Iran. The company has also reported export activity to markets in the Gulf region and Kenya, extending its focus on Iranian honey beyond the domestic market.
From Foodex Iran's perspective, Rayehe's strongest long-term opportunity lies in turning trust from a marketing claim into something consumers can verify. Provenance, organic certification, batch-level laboratory analysis and transparent information about how and where honey is produced can create a much stronger position than simply competing on the phrase “natural honey.” For a brand with this level of heritage, making quality traceable may ultimately be more valuable than expanding the portfolio itself.
