Chenaran

Chenaran Sugar is a long-established Iranian sugar producer whose industrial origins date back to 1955 in Chenaran, Razavi Khorasan Province. The factory began operations in 1956, while Chenaran Sugar Co. was formally registered in 1966. The company has been affiliated with Astan Quds Razavi since 1970.

Its core activity is the processing of sugar beet and the production of white sugar. The operation also generates beet molasses and various forms of beet pulp, while the company provides raw-sugar refining and mechanised agricultural services. Its direct relationship with regional sugar-beet growers forms an important part of its operating model and raw-material supply chain.

Chenaran Sugar's identity is therefore closely connected to the broader sugar-beet value chain, rather than solely to a conventional consumer-brand model. Agricultural sourcing, extraction efficiency and the utilisation of co-products such as molasses and beet pulp are important components of the company's industrial value proposition.
