About Chuckles
Chuckles is an Iranian potato chips and snack brand launched in 2009 by Beh Ara Food Industries. Before introducing Chuckles, Beh Ara had gained several years of experience manufacturing chips and snacks under licence from Germany's Lorenz, providing the operational and technical background for the development of its own local brand.
From its early years, Chuckles placed particular emphasis on variety in shape, flavour and the overall snacking experience. Spiral-shaped corn snacks became one of the distinctive products associated with this direction, followed by ball, ring and other formats alongside a broad range of potato chips and flavoured snacks. Product shape, therefore, became part of the brand's identity rather than simply a manufacturing variation.
Chuckles has developed its position through differentiation within a highly competitive snack category. Its long-term brand value lies not only in expanding the number of products it offers, but also in maintaining the recognisable product experiences that have helped distinguish the brand in the Iranian market. This creates a strong foundation for future innovation across chips and adjacent snack categories.
