Dorna

Dorna is a long-established Iranian food brand operating across cakes, biscuits, wafers, cookies and other confectionery products.

The business traces its heritage to 1965, when Haj Mirza Agha Rasoulavi established a cake-production operation in Tehran. Its earliest products were marketed under the Rasoulavi Cake name, meaning the business heritage predates the Dorna consumer brand itself.

The second generation of the Rasoulavi family subsequently expanded the operation through Bisco Large and introduced Dorna to Iran's cake and confectionery market. Available historical evidence places Dorna's commercial brand development around the late 1980s.

Bisco Large remains one of the principal manufacturing operations associated with Dorna, with its main production facility located along the Tehran–Karaj corridor.

As the brand expanded, its portfolio grew beyond cakes to include layered cakes, biscuits, wafers, pancakes, cookies, powdered baking products and selected chocolate products. Dornaye Benis was subsequently added to the group's production structure, particularly for biscuits, cookies and related products.

Erikeh Dorna was established in 2010 as a dedicated sales and distribution operation and today supports an extensive nationwide network of Dorna sales branches and authorized distributors.

The wider group has also developed Dorina as a related consumer brand focused primarily on chocolate products.

Dorna has documented export activity and continues to participate in international confectionery and snack-industry events.
