About Ghoncheh
GHONCHEH is an Iranian baby-food and powdered-food brand whose commercial production began in 1374 SH (1995/96). The brand initially developed around baby food and has remained closely associated with this category for several decades. Its products are manufactured at Ghoncheh Parvar's production facility in Alborz Province.
Baby food remains one of GHONCHEH's core product categories. Its range includes wheat-, rice- and multigrain-based formulations, offered in combinations with milk, banana, dates, honey, mixed fruits, almond and other ingredients. The company also maintains a dedicated range of baby-food products and packaging formats intended for export markets.
Over time, the GHONCHEH portfolio has expanded beyond infant foods to include jelly powders, cake mixes, porridge mixes, powdered beverages, semi-prepared halva, wheat and rice flour, along with selected cereal and breadcrumb products.
Food safety and quality control are particularly important in GHONCHEH's core category. The producer currently reports implementation of HACCP, while ISO 22000 has also been reported in industry sources, although its current certification status should be independently reconfirmed before being presented as an active certificate.
GHONCHEH also manufactures products specifically configured for international markets. Export activity has been reported to markets including Afghanistan, Iraq and Oman, while the brand's current website maintains dedicated export product ranges for baby food.
From Foodex Iran's perspective, GHONCHEH operates in a category where consumer trust carries unusually high value. Its long history in baby food is a meaningful asset, but the future strength of that heritage will depend on how clearly the brand communicates nutrition, age suitability, ingredients and quality controls to parents. In infant nutrition, evidence-based transparency can ultimately become more valuable than longevity alone.
