About Haraz
Haraz is an Iranian dairy brand established in 2007 in Amol, Mazandaran. Developed by Doosheh Dairy Company, the brand takes its identity from northern Iran, where its main production base is located, and has grown from this regional foundation into a broadly distributed name in Iran's dairy market.
Haraz has developed a broad dairy portfolio spanning yogurt, milk, doogh, cream, butter, selected cheeses and dairy desserts. Yogurt has played a particularly visible role in the brand's product development, ranging from conventional and probiotic formats to a variety of flavoured products.
An important part of Haraz's development has been its exploration of new flavours within familiar dairy categories. Vegetable- and herb-based yogurts such as shallot, spinach-based borani, eggplant and local herb combinations became an identifiable element of its early innovation strategy and helped broaden consumption occasions within the category.
The combination of a strong regional origin, continuing product development and broad market reach has become a defining part of Haraz's identity. Within Foodex Iran, this progression from a northern Iranian dairy business into a widely distributed national brand forms an important part of the Haraz story.
