Cocacola Iran (Khoshgovar)

Khoshgovar is one of Iran's long-established beverage groups, with a history dating back to 1957.

The group's roots are associated with Khoshgovar Mashhad, which was legally registered in the same year and became the foundation of what later developed into a broader network of beverage manufacturing and distribution companies.

Mohammad Jafar Yazdi is widely identified as the principal founder of the business.

A particularly important part of Khoshgovar's history is its documented relationship with The Coca-Cola Company. Official filings by The Coca-Cola Company confirm that an Iranian local bottler was authorized to produce and sell finished beverages under trademarks including Coca-Cola, Fanta and Sprite and received the applicable beverage concentrates.

This relationship does not represent corporate ownership. The Coca-Cola Company has publicly stated that it has no ownership interest in the Iranian bottler and no tangible assets in Iran.

Khoshgovar's corporate structure today includes several Iranian legal entities, including Khoshgovar Mashhad and Khoshgovar Tehran, alongside other regional companies and production operations.

The group's beverage portfolio spans carbonated soft drinks, packaged water, juice and fruit beverages, non-alcoholic malt drinks, sports and energy beverages and selected dairy beverages. Alongside internationally owned beverage trademarks, Khoshgovar also operates local brands and product lines of its own.

Khoshgovar's historic Mashhad manufacturing operation is located in the Tous Industrial City area, while the group maintains corporate and operational activities in Tehran and other regions of Iran.

The group also has documented international market activity. Recent independent conformity records confirm that beverages manufactured by Khoshgovar companies, including Coca-Cola, Fanta and Sprite products, have entered Eurasian markets.

Khoshgovar remains active as a major Iranian beverage manufacturing and distribution group.
