About Mahram
Mahram is a long-established Iranian food brand founded in 1970, with a history closely linked to the development of industrial sauces and condiments in Iran. Founded by Shahrokh Zahiri, the business began with a limited product range in which mayonnaise was one of its core products, before expanding into a broad portfolio of packaged food and condiment categories.
Sauces remain at the center of Mahram's product identity. Its portfolio includes mayonnaise, ketchup, salad dressings and sauces for different food applications, alongside pickles, cucumbers, olives, tomato-based products, jams, vinegar, citrus-based condiments and selected non-meat canned foods.
Mahram's principal manufacturing operation is located in Alborz Industrial City in Qazvin Province, while the company's headquarters are based in Tehran. The brand serves both the consumer market and professional foodservice channels and distributes its products through a nationwide distribution structure.
The company has continued to invest in its core category. New production lines for sauces and dressings were introduced in 2025/26, reflecting continued industrial development in the product area most closely associated with the Mahram name.
Mahram's long-term strength is closely connected to the association it has built with sauces and condiments in the Iranian market. For a brand with this level of heritage, future value may come not simply from portfolio expansion, but from reinforcing category ownership through contemporary dressings, changing consumer tastes and stronger foodservice applications while preserving the distinctive identity built around the Mahram name.
