About Macpasta
MAK is an Iranian pasta brand that entered the market in 2009. Developed by Khoshnam Food Products within the Changizi industrial group, the brand draws on the group's long-standing experience in flour and grain processing. MAK's principal production facility is located near Shahin Shahr in Isfahan Province and has been developed around modern industrial pasta-production technology.
The brand's core portfolio includes spaghetti and long pasta, shaped pasta and lasagna, alongside bulk formats for professional and foodservice applications. The range has also expanded into traditional ash and rice noodles, rice and selected complementary grain-based products.
International trade has been part of MAK's development from its early years. The company historically supplied a significant share of its production to regional, Gulf, Asian and African markets and has participated in several editions of Gulfood Dubai. Trade records also document international shipments of MAK spaghetti, pasta and lasagna.
MAK has developed a recognizable position in Iran's pasta market, supported by its group's experience in flour and grain processing. From Foodex Iran's perspective, maintaining a strong pasta identity while selectively developing complementary categories can support a more coherent long-term brand position.
