Tarvand

Tarvand Saffron is an Iranian brand specializing in saffron and specialty agricultural products from the Qayenat region.

The documented commercial use of the Tarvand name dates back to 1991, when the brand began developing its presence in domestic and international saffron markets.

The business builds on the founder's multi-generational family background in saffron cultivation and trade. Mohsen Ehtesham subsequently developed these activities into a more structured, scientific and industrial operation.

The current legal company was registered in 2001. In November 2002, Tarvand established its modern sorting, processing, packaging and export facility near the saffron-growing areas of Qayenat.

The company's principal manufacturing and processing complex is located in Qayen Industrial Estate in South Khorasan Province, supported by commercial offices in Tehran and Mashhad.

Tarvand operates a contract-farming model with local growers and applies product traceability, specialized laboratory testing and multi-stage quality controls throughout its supply chain.

Alongside saffron, the company's activities extend to selected regional agricultural products including barberry, medicinal herbs, herbal infusions and plant extracts.

Tarvand has a documented history of international saffron exports and has received multiple national and provincial recognitions for export performance and product quality.
