About Vitana
Vitana is one of Iran's long-established packaged food brands, with industrial operations dating back to 1958 in Tehran. Founded by Dr. Reza Tehranchi and his brothers, the business played an important role in the early development of mechanized biscuit and industrial bread production in Iran and became closely associated with the growth of packaged bakery products in the country.
The Vitana name has remained particularly associated with products such as rusks and biscuits, while the wider company has progressively developed a much broader bakery and snack portfolio. Over time, a number of distinct brands—including Madar, Nika, Tivica, Panico, Lucky and Delato—have also been developed or incorporated within the Vitana business structure.
More recently, Vitana has expanded its industrial footprint through major investment in its Caspian Industrial Town production complex while continuing operations at its long-established Tehran site. This development has combined the company's manufacturing heritage with newer production capacity and a more active presence in international markets.
Vitana's long continuity in Iran's food industry is a distinctive part of its identity. Within Foodex Iran, the connection between this industrial heritage and the company's continuing investment in manufacturing and market development makes Vitana a notable example of an established Iranian food brand evolving across generations.
